I have now got my very own iPhone App and Android App, available for download on iTunes and the Android Market.

This means that anyone who wants to have a dress can easily find directions to come along for a fitting.

There is also a tap-to-call feature, so that you can easily get in touch with me, whenever you need to.

One of the handiest features is the ability to take photos of your dress, from within the app (as it is being made) and share it with your Facebook friends to get their feedback.

From within the app, you can also view images of all the dresses I have recently designed, to get a feel for how your outfit might look and the choices available to you.

Finally, there is also a quick link to my Facebook page, so that you can keep up-to-date with what I am up to.

I don’t normally sit and hand stitch like this. But my mum came over to visit and saw the dresses all hung up and demanded I sat and posed for a photo. She is a painter and painted me later.

When the bride, told me what she wanted, we sat down and designed it right away. I showed her some of the fabrics samples I had and she chose this vibrant orange immediately. When the fabric came in, I couldn’t wait to show her and when she saw it she was over the moon.

When I measured and fitted the girls they loved the colour and style too. At each fitting we all get more and more excited. I couldn’t wait to see them on the day!

The dresses looked amazing on the day. You can see them in the Bridesmaids Gallery on the site. I loved the style of them with the full skirts and the bows they were perfect for a mid-summer wedding.

Now you have to trust me – I am a very modest person, but I was so proud of this dress! Sarah is a hell of a girl. She is always pushing me to make outrageous dresses for her and this was a real challenge. But she does look terrific in it. So terrific, in fact, that she won the Miss Earth Scotland 2009 Final in it and got to go to the World Final in Vietnam. I got to make her National Costume Dress for that too!-
